the Wholefood shop at Wood Street will also fill up Ecover bottles.  Sadly, the shop in Hoe Street (Petit Marche) that did this seems to have closed down for good.  It started off as an organic shop, and then became a mixed convenient store, but still had the refills going.  For the past few months it seems to be shut, however.

We need something like that in the High Street..and a bike shop too.

Don't forget that you can also load up with Ecover products at the Hornbeam Centre.

Just take along your bottles to be refilled.

Yes, I know the idea is to cut down on consumption but here are a few places to buy ecologically freindly products on the web.

Gooshing.co.uk – An ethical price comparison site. Search 250,000 products

Originalorganics.co.uk – Wormaries, composters, Bokashi and more

Recycledproducts.org.uk – Details on where to buy recycled everything… from cat litter to bathroom fittings. If you can get a recycled version it'll be listed here.

BigBarn.co.uk – Put in your postcode and find the details of all shops offering local produce. Also details of whats in season, although when I looked it seemed to think it was November.

Frponline.org.uk – Not a shop but the (Waltham) Forest Recycling Project has loads of links, advice and events.

Give Or Take – Another site where people can get rid of their unwanted stuff. A hamster cage (hamster not included) is on offer right now.

Anyone else know any good sites??
