A quick tip: I recently bought an electricity monitor gadget (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Britis…..amp;sr=1-1) that shows total usage for the house, records it over time and all that.  It's quite a neat litte device. 

The thing is, Amazon sells it for £22 quid in a version badged (and presumably subsidised) by British Gas, the normal version costs £34 but is essentially identical.  Just thought I'd let you know, it seems very useful to help keep those electricity bills down…
