Blackhorse Action Group (BAG) formed in summer 2006 after a party. A hungover bunch of neighbours stared bleary-eyed at a vivid green flyer that had just been pushed through the door by a concerned local resident. It told us that the council was rather sneakily trying to build over green belt land without properly consulting local residents. We got together, we formed a campaign, we made a fuss, we researched the planning regulations, we did whatever it took… the development never went ahead.

In November 2007, BAG held a meeting for local residents who voted unanimously to form a proper residents association to safeguard and further the interests of people in the local area.

Membership is free, and becoming a Member couldn’t be easier. Your participation will really help us make a difference to our community.
