There’s not long for residents to comment on plans for commercial premises on Sutherland Road to be demolished and 2-6 storey flats plus a health centre built in their place.
People living along Blackhorse Lane backing on to the proposed site were sent letters on the 11th of June giving them 21 days to respond to plans which they can view by visiting the planning office or speaking to a planning officer on 0208 4963000. The closing date appears to be Wed 2nd July!

The tallest development – Six storeys – will be at the bottom of Sutherland Road Path opposite the Blackhorse Workshop. On the corner of St Andrews Road and Sutherland a 2 storey GP practice is planned.
Residents on Blackhorse Lane may have concerns about people overlooking their gardens although two storey houses with a short 6-7 metre garden will be in front of the 4-6 storey blocks. These properties will also have balconies but it’s not clear what the line of sight will be for current residents.
