On Sunday 16th February 2014 local residents will plant around 4 fruit trees on Russell Road. All are welcome to participate in the day and learn how to plant and take care of your fruit trees, so do come along, join in the fun and have something to eat with us afterwards.
The day will kick off at 11am, where the E17 Fruit Bag team will help local residents to plant plum-, cherry- and greengage trees. We’ll be meeting at the junction of Russell Road and Coleridge Road, so do grab your gardening gloves and come along. All tools will be provided and the day promises to be a fun way to learn about trees and improve our local environment. After we’ve finished planting, we’ll be providing refreshments for everyone who has taken part.
