Have your say on willowfield school proposals
Thanks to everyone who came along to BAG’s meeting about the Willowfield school plan.
The deadline for sending in your concerns is the 23rd of March so if you want to have your say you can do it in two ways:
Send any concerns or views to london@nlpplanning.com
or write to:
Attention of C. Widdowson

All Saints Street, London N1 9RL
The key concerns that were strongly raised at Wednesday’s meeting were:
Traffic impact – particularly the proposals for a one way system which would increase traffic dramatically along Edward rd and roads off it
High rise schools – concern this is what the proposals for a ‘landmark building’ actually mean, we all want good quality design, but we fear it means high rise, due to comments by other council officials.
Council officials at the meeting claimed high rise was ‘very unlikely’ so why is it in the planning brief at all?
Housing above school, again, council officials claimed this was ‘very unlikely’ so why is it in the planning brief at all? the consultant claimed this was because of other council planning policies but this
is misleading.
There was a general consensus amongst parents, residents and governers about not wanting high rise or housing and wanting a good quality school.
Ask the council to amend the planning brief now, as a result of this consultation, in line with these concerns (or any other concerns you have).
