Many thanks for amending the post. Yes, RAP employed the (very professional and reliable) services of the Socialist Party printing press as they were able to provide the most cost-effective/quick turnaround quote. However, to reiterate, the leaflets that were printed are being funded with money donated by residents who support the RAP campaign.

Hi Sian and F. Dismore

Youre very welcome re the coverage, local groups need to help each other out if they are to stand a chance of influencing councils, developers, etc.

Ive changed the text a bit to change backed to support. I put backed as I read the Socialist Party website saying "Local residents and Socialist Party members set up a campaign" plus "Local people and Socialist Party members leafleted and knocked doors" and as you say yourself Socialist Party printing presses were used for printing. I did put that we were not criticising RAP or the Socialist Party in any way I just didnt want BAG to appear to show bias towards any party so I thought it best to point out the link.

All local groups contain members who are tied to particular parties, I'm sure we probably do too. Its great that RAP are fighting for more information and consultation over the NLWP and anything BAG can do to help promote your group let us know! Hope no offence was caused

Thank you for highlighting the Residents Against Pollution (RAP) campaign about the implications of The North London Waste Plan and The North London Waste Strategy for the residents of Waltham Forest. You are however incorrect in stating that RAP is backed by the Socialist Party. The party has indeed declared its support for our campaign, as we hope all other parties will too. For the record, we are a non-political group of residents concerned about this community issue. Please could you amend your post accordingly.

Hi Just to clairify
Residents against pollution are NOT a political group.
Some member are in the socialist party and we have used their campaigning experience and paid individually to use their printing press but it is a local group for anyone interested in this issue.

We all met at the NLWP consultation and are local people
